Barts was born in 1986, on a beach in Saint Tropez. Originally, Bart Koene sold handmade swimsuits with ultra-trendy patterns. The brand owes its success to its first bandana. The decision was made: to specialise in accessories, particularly headwear for all your adventures. 

For over 30 years, Barts has developed a wide range of headbands, beanies, and summer and winter accessories. Recently, the brand has even returned to its first love: swimsuits.

The Dutch brand has managed to maintain its traditional know-how: from hand knitting to dyeing. Sustainability and respect for the environment are strong values at Barts. Recycled materials, responsible manufacturing, animal welfare... Nothing has been left to chance!
