The company Monnet was born in the 1930s in Montceau Les Mines, the historical cradle of French textiles. Drawing on the expertise of the Burgundians, François Monnet decided to become a manufacturer of his own haberdashery and button-making.
With the emergence of new ski resorts and the enthusiasm surrounding them, Mr. Monnet decided to shift his textile production towards mountain sports. This marked the beginning of the first models of ski socks Monnet.
