Ferrino
Ferrino, the Italian quality since 1870
The story of the brand Ferrino begins in Turin in 1870 when Cesare Ferrino, then at the helm of a paint shop, has a brilliant idea: waterproofing fabrics. The success is immediate. The first Ferrino tents emerge 20 years later. From fabric to manufacture, the company manages everything and supplies some explorers and climbers. In 1910, the brand participates in the golden years of mountaineering and further improves its equipment. In 1986, it accompanies Reinhold Messner to the 14 highest peaks on earth, then explorers Borge Ousland and Mike Horn, proving that its equipment is suited for the most extreme conditions. Today, the Italian company offers a complete range of products dedicated to adventure, including camping and bivouac tents, hiking backpacks, and sleeping bags. Uncompromising on the quality of its products, Ferrino has had an open-air laboratory since 1994. It is on the Monte Rosa massif that materials and prototypes are tested in extreme conditions. The goal: to design products with the needs of everyone in mind, from amateurs to professionals.
The Ferrino tents for sleeping around the globe
The Italian brand offers tents designed for all weather conditions. Tested by the greatest explorers and climbers, on the highest peaks or in the most remote regions, Ferrino tents are the result of many years of research and improvement. The Lightent 2 Pro tent, for example, is particularly light and robust, perfect for adventures for two. A 3-season model made from eco-friendly materials, it comes with numerous accessories that make its use even simpler. Compact when folded, it weighs only 1.5 kg. Supplied with a storage bag, it is ideal for hiking, whether on foot or by bike. Available in several colours and versions, the Lightent 3 Pro model can accommodate 3 adventurers, while the Lightent Pro 1 model is designed for solo adventurers. In another category, the Nemesi 2 tent is ideal for intense treks and hikes. With a dome structure, this waterproof and breathable tent can accommodate 2 people. Its easy setup, numerous accessories, 2 doors, and adjustable fly make it perfectly suited for most adventures for two.
Ferrino: equipment for camping and hiking
The Italian company offers a whole range of products designed for hiking and camping. The sleeping bag Nightec Lite Pro 600 is one of them. Technical and lightweight, it offers particularly effective microfiber insulation, even in negative temperatures. Shaped like a mummy and close-fitting, it features an anti-cold hood to further enhance heat retention. In addition to Ferrino sleeping bags, Ferrino mattresses allow for pleasant nights outdoors. Thus, the Air Lite Pillow mattress is light and practical to take anywhere. Inflatable, it takes up very little space when folded and contains a pillow that serves as a pump! All this, tucked into a Ferrino backpack, allows you to set off on your adventure with peace of mind. Because when it comes to bags, the brand knows what it's talking about. The hiking bag Dry Up 22 is a prime example. Completely waterproof, it includes numerous compartments and is perfectly equipped to adapt to all outings.
