The story of the Löffler brand began in 1947 when Elfriede Löffler founded a company in the town of Ried. Although initially producing women's clothing and underwear, it was in 1973 that the sporting history of Löffler truly began when the famous company 'Fischer', specialised in the manufacture of cross-country and alpine skis, acquired the company founded by Elfriede 30 years earlier. A year later, in 1974, the brand's first sports collection was launched with a winter sports collection showcased at the legendary ISPO trade fair. The following year, Löffler developed its first collection of ski clothing, particularly a collection dedicated to cross-country skiing. The development of Löffler continued in the following years with the introduction of various technologies and enhancements to its current collections. Thus, in 1981, Löffler developed its first collection of cycling clothing. Another sport added to the Löffler range, a brand that never stops innovating. In 1998, Löffler added another string to its bow as a sportswear manufacturer with a collection of running clothing.
